Houston Scrutinizer operator service

Service Terms

  • The service is scheduled for one hour and starts at the confirmed appointment time.
  • A typical visit includes about 5 minutes to find the crawlspace opening and set up, about 45 minutes of rover control, and about 10 minutes to remove the rover and send available media on the spot.
  • The technician operates the rover for the customer or responsible professional, acting as remote eyes and legs in reasonably accessible crawlspace or inspection areas.
  • The flat $150 service fee includes technician travel within the Houston service area and the one-hour scheduled visual documentation service.
  • Payment is collected when the request is placed. If AlouTech cannot confirm the appointment, the booking is refunded or rescheduled.
  • The service includes visual navigation of reasonably accessible crawlspace or inspection areas and captured photos and/or video when conditions allow.
  • Normal service duration is up to 90 minutes on site; unusual site conditions may limit coverage or require rescheduling.
  • The customer is responsible for safe, legal site access and for disclosing known hazards before the visit.
  • AlouTech may decline, stop, or reschedule service for unsafe, inaccessible, contaminated, flooded, structurally unstable, or otherwise unsuitable crawlspaces.
  • Travel outside the normal Houston service area may require separate approval or additional pricing.
  • Cancellation or rescheduling requests should be submitted before technician travel begins. Completed travel and on-site service time are non-refundable.
  • Weather, standing water, sewage, animals, pests, exposed electrical components, suspected asbestos, hazardous materials, restricted access, or blocked areas may require the appointment to be stopped or rescheduled.
